Highlights: European Disability Employment Week

For the twelfth year in a row, Disneyland Paris showed its support for European Disability Employment Week, as part of its commitment to accessibility and to its Cast Members.

This week’s actions included raising awareness among Cast Members, as well as inspiring local adults through sessions dedicated to discovering work in a professional environment.

On Monday, our Casting team had the opportunity to participate in Escape Game-style sessions, organized in partnership with APF France Handicap to provide insights into what it means to be a person with disabilities, while learning more about different types of disabilities and best practices to work with and help others.

On Wednesday, a forum was held for Cast Members in partnership with 3 ESAT – Establishment and Services of Assistance through Work hosting people with disabilities – to share more information about employment in the protected sector – structures that allow disabled people to carry out a professional activity under adapted working conditions.

On Thursday, Disneyland Paris participated for the second time in DuoDAY, inviting people with disabilities to discover some Disneyland Paris jobs together with Cast Members, in various restaurant and hospitality roles.

Bonus content: meet four of our Cast Members who share their stories and unique journeys at Disneyland Paris!
