Disneyland Paris to broadcast exclusive “making of” feature from behind-the-scenes at the The Lion King & Jungle Festival

This summer, Disneyland Paris will bring to life two Disney masterpieces The Lion King and The Jungle Book. Be prepared for The Lion King and Jungle Festival, from 30 June to 22 September 2019. To celebrate the event, Disneyland Paris is capturing a special documentary that goes behind-the-scenes, starting with the initial development and creation of the season concept, all the way to the opening day.  The special documentary will include how the shows are created, the recording of music, artists’ rehearsals, set and costume design, development of merchandise and food and beverage, plus a whole lot more.  Broadcasts begin on May 25 through official Disneyland Paris media platforms. An official production from the Disneyland Paris team, the programme is a first, giving viewers the opportunity to take a peek behind-the-scenes of the Disney magic. It will be broadcast at a number of key points – throughout production – on official Disneyland Paris media platforms.

A season devoted to Disney masterpieces The Lion King and The Jungle Book

This summer, starting from 30 June 2019, the The Lion King & Jungle Festival will get Disneyland Paris guests dancing to the rhythms of the African savannah and the Indian jungle with:

 “ The Lion King : Rhythms of the Pride Lands

The new show celebrates the legend of Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Mufasa, Scar, Timon and Pumbaa in a totally new way. Emotions will run high, with spectacular new staging for “Circle of life”, “I want to be king”, “Can you feel the love tonight?”, the cult hit “Hakuna Matata” and many more. Singers, dancers, acrobats and percussionists bring new life to Pride Land with brand new dance routines and costumes.

“The Jungle Book Jive”

This new show will travel all across Disneyland Paris, inviting guests to swing along at Central Plaza with iconic Characters including Baloo and King Louie, plus lots of performers brought in especially from India, a parade of outsize animals and lots more surprises.

The immersive experience doesn’t stop there, as Disneyland Paris also has other surprises in store, taking guests to the very heart of The Lion King and The Jungle Book. The “making-of” also invited viewers to see how all of these new features are created, including the development of a new dining experience and special shopping experience.
