Disneyland® Paris has long been dedicated to developing biodiversity and raising awareness of environmental preservation. The destination is home to a large number of biodiversity facilities, which are maintained throughout the year by the Horticulture teams in charge of all green spaces.
This May 22, to mark World Biodiversity Day, workshops were held for Cast Members and ULIS (Localized Unit for School Inclusion) pupils from the Nicolas Tronchon secondary school in Saint-Soupplets. These students had the opportunity to explore the biodiversity present at Disney Hotel Cheyenne using their senses, while Cast Members were able to take part in a guided tour of one of our beehives or let themselves be guided on a nature walk.
All year long, Nature Tour tours are organized in the heart of Disneyland Park, led by the Horticulture teams, with the goal of passing on and introducing Cast Members to this biodiversity.
At Disney Davy Crockett Ranch and Disney Hotel Cheyenne, nature trails allow visitors to learn more about the facilities set up to protect wildlife.
To celebrate this World Day, look at the biodiversity present at Disneyland Paris and the facilities put in place to highlight it.
