As part of an unwavering commitment to provide a welcome, inclusive environment and accessible experiences, Disneyland Paris works year-round with nonprofits and educational organizations to encourage opportunities for those with disabilities in the community and to help develop and test out new offerings.
Disneyland Paris regularly welcomes associations and their members for tailored experiences in the parks – most recently, 10 associations as part of this year’s DuoDay initiative to pair up individuals with disabilities with Cast Members and to experience a day in that Cast’s role. This opportunity has even turned into regular employment, such as with Cast Member Nalwenn who participated in the event last year.

Cast Members also have the chance to learn from these visits, as in the case of a sensory workshop developed with our Entertainment team and the Bleu Inclusion association this week to provide children with autism a one-of-a-kind adapted and immersive experience. Beyond our parks, Cast are encouraged to participate in annual solidarity races, such as the “Course Ensemble” with Forum Handicap to learn more about accessibility and raise awareness in the community.
As we continue to roll out new offerings, associations like Arpejeh for youth with disabilities and ANM’ Chiens Guides for people who are blind and visually impaired are invaluable in helping to test them out. This was the case last year when Disneyland Paris introduced tactile maps and audio description in the parks.
Disneyland Paris Cast Members contribute their skills to help people with disabilities through coaching workshops for young adults through Arpejeh to help them prepare their resumes and get ready for interviews. Thanks to a partnership with FÉDÉEH, young adults also receive scholarships to help fund accommodations for their own studies. Students with disabilities from schools in the area also regularly visit the resort to learn about jobs and meet Cast Members.
Disneyland Paris is committed to empowering those with disabilities, both in the experiences we provide every day and beyond our gates in the surrounding community. We continue to listen, learn and expand our efforts thanks to a relationship with many associations and the dedication of our Cast Members.
