In late September, 50 children from Secours Populaire arrived at Disneyland Paris from across Seine et Marne to experience an adventure straight out of the most beautiful fairy tales. From the moment they arrived at the magnificent Disneyland Hotel, their dreams began to come to life, and the ordinary gave way to pure enchantment.
Each child, eyes shining with excitement, was given a stunning prince or princess costume, transforming them into heroes from magical kingdoms. It was as if the pages of the most wonderful stories had opened up to embrace them. Dressed in their royal attire, they were led to the Table de Lumières restaurant, where an unforgettable Royal Breakfast awaited. Surrounded by legendary Disney Princesses Cinderella and Jasmine, they enjoyed a feast out of a fairy tale.
Under sparkling chandeliers, laughter and smiles lit up the room. This magical moment, suspended in time, turned the breakfast into a true enchanted moment, where each child, for a few hours, was able to experience a life of royalty.
The children were quick to underscore just how unforgettable the day was for them:
Samia, still wide-eyed with wonder, said: “I saw the real Cinderella! She told me my dress was beautiful. It’s the best day of my life. I never want to forget this moment.”
For the organizers, the day was equally emotional. Eric Pires-Augere, responsible for philanthropy at Disneyland Paris, said: “We are committed to offering moments of magic to those who need them most. Seeing the joy in these children’s eyes is the greatest reward. At Disneyland Paris, we deeply believe that every child deserves to live their dream, even if just for a moment.”
This enchanting day – part of Disneyland Paris’ ongoing commitment to spreading moments of joy – will forever remain a sparkling memory. Together with Secours Populaire, Disneyland Paris offered them far more than just a day at the park: a true dream come to life, filled with wonder and laughter.
