Let’s Celebrate Italian Cuisine at Disneyland Paris!

Calling all foodies, this article is for you! Since 1992, Disneyland® Paris guests have been able to embark on a culinary journey around the world by dining at the resort’s restaurants, which offer a wide variety of food options inspired by cuisines from different continents. On this International Day of Italian Cuisine, we invite you to discover how the food culture of the country renowned for its dolce vita lifestyle is celebrated throughout the place where dreams come true. Buon appetito!

A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Disneyland Park

Nestled between Sleeping Beauty Castle and “it’s a small world”, Pizzeria Bella Notte brings a touch of Italian charm to Fantasyland® with its colorful, flower-filled façade. In addition to giving nods to iconic places and characters from classic Walt Disney Animation Studios films through its architecture and décor – such as Tony and Joe’s restaurant in Lady and the Tramp and Bacchus, the God of Wine from Fantasia – this restaurant features a room inspired by Portorosso, the fictional town where the characters from Disney-Pixar’s animated film Luca reside. Stepping into this room feels like arriving in an Italian coastal town, as it recreates a seaside atmosphere with décor inspired by traditional fishermen’s houses.

And this immersive experience extends to the plate! With its spaghetti dish paying homage to the iconic candlelit dinner scene in Lady and the Tramp, Mickey’s pizza, Neapolitan lasagna and trenette al pestocoming straight out of Luca’s world, the restaurant’s menu is sure to delight guests of all ages!

A Breathtaking Setting for an Unforgettable Dining Experience

On the other side of the resort, all guests can enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at the Manhattan Restaurant inside Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel – a breathtaking space adorned with an awe-inspiring inverted pyramid-shaped chandelier that evokes the realm of Asgard. This modern restaurant is perfect for those looking to indulge in flavorful and refined Italian fare.

“We make our pasta using premium ingredients that are carefully selected and listed on our menu. Inspired by Italian traditions, our dishes incorporate new flavors created through the use of refined ingredients, such as king shrimp. This allows us to deliver a unique experience to our guests,” said Massimo Curti, Chef at the Manhattan Restaurant.

Italian Cuisine in the World of Super Heroes

The ultimate can’t-miss spot for Italian food lovers is located in the heart of Marvel Avengers Campus, at Stark Factory. Originally created by Tony Stark’s father, this old factory has been converted into a high-tech workspace where Super Heroes assemble to build their gear and repair their armors. When reimagining this site, Tony also made sure to address recruits’ need for meal breaks by adding a space dedicated to Italian dishes that remind him of the Little Italy neighborhood in New York City. What better way to refuel than by treating one’s taste buds to pasta and homemade pizzas prepared during a cooking show experience?
