For the 31st year in a row, Disneyland Paris is renewing its support for the Pièces Jaunes campaign, organised from 10 January to 4 February 2024 by the Fondation des Hôpitaux. New this year: tote bags and pins in the colours of the operation have been created by the Disneyland Paris teams and are on sale specially for the occasion in the resort’s shops World of Disney (Disney Village) and Flora’s Unique Boutique (Main Street, U.S.A. – Parc Disneyland). All profits will be donated to the Foundation to support ongoing projects.
Guests and Cast Members are also invited to contribute to the well-being of children and teenagers in hospital thanks to the piggy banks located throughout the destination, on stage and backstage, and Disneyland Paris is committed to doubling the amount donated. The number of coins thrown into the fountains of the parks will also be donated.
The highlight of the campaign will take place on January 17. Disneyland Paris will invite hundreds of young people in hospital and their families as well as hospital staff, coming from Paris region, Bordeaux, Lyon and Reims for a magical and unforgettable stay in the parks.
These initiatives are part of many actions throughout the year – and for more than 30 years – toward children and families who need it most, including the support of Disney VoluntEARS, Cast Members who volunteer for philanthropic actions in our parks. Since 1991, more than 40,000 hospitalized children have been visited by Disney characters and VoluntEARS.
