Once again this year, Disney VoluntEARS responded with energy and generosity! They gathered in numbers, united by the same desire to bring the magic of Christmas to hospitalized children across France.
More than 200 Disney VoluntEARS came together, surrounded by their families, to wrap more than 7,000 gifts – a record! These gifts were then sent to over 60 hospitals in France and Belgium, giving children a precious moment of joy and enchantment during the festive season. To make this moment even more magical, Mickey himself joined the Disney VoluntEARS, visiting several hospitals – especially on Christmas Day – to offer some comfort and present gifts to children.
“This time of year is a key moment for our Disney VoluntEARS,” said Eric Pires Augère, in charge of philanthropy at Disneyland Paris. “It’s the perfect opportunity to share the magic of Christmas with those who need it most, especially hospitalized children. Our gift wrapping day, which brings parents and children together, is also a true moment of generational sharing, where the values of generosity and solidarity are shared with passion and kindness.”
