For Disneyland Hotel Grand Reopening Press Weekend on February 3rd and 4th, 2024, three Cast Members had the opportunity to become Cast Reporters and take part on this royal media event!
This weekend, Disneyland Hotel welcomed celebrities, press and media from all over the world to celebrate the beginning of this new fairytale the begun last January 25th, 2024, when the hotel reopened its doors after an incredible royal transformation.
Three Disneyland Paris Cast Members, Alexandre from the Disney Express service, and Charlotte and Yassidé from the Client Relation Center, were given the opportunity to become Cast Reporters for two days. Their mission? To cover the event as true reporters and share the highlights of the weekend with their peers on official social media channels!
The experience, which became an unforgettable memory of their Disney Cast Life, started with a regal welcome and check-in at Disneyland Hotel on Saturday morning. After receiving the keys to their enchanting superior rooms, a very busy program awaited them! Their royal agenda included several activities to enjoy the newly reimagined experiences and offerings of Disneyland Hotel, such as lunch at Royal Banquet or discovering the brand new hotel’s collection at Royal Collection Boutique.
Following on the program, as the light of sunset sparkled through the Bohemian crystal chandelier in the majestic lobby, the Royal Ball took place: an enchanting and exclusive moment that marked the beginning of the Dedication Ceremony, one of the biggest highlights of the day!
Hosted by Disneyland Paris Ambassadors, Jose Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras, and Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, the second part of the Dedication Ceremony drove guests to Fantasia Gardens. After the three of them declared Disneyland Hotel officially open, a stunning show featuring breathtaking light and special effects illuminated the iconic façade of Disneyland Hotel with everyone’s favorite Disney royal stories to celebrate the moment.
To finish off, a royal cocktail was served at the hotel’s emblematic Rotunda, where our Cast Reporters, were able to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening before a royal night of sleep in their rooms. After a full day spent rediscovering the Disneyland Hotel and creating engaging content to share the experience with their fellow colleagues, it was the perfect ending to their own Disney Cast Life fairytale.
