Anna Melchior is a carpenter at Disneyland Paris hotels. After training in plastic arts and carpentry with the Compagnons du Devoir in Paris, she joined our teams in 2022 on a work study program and was soon hired on a permanent basis, a career path that has enabled her to transfer knowledge from her teachers and mentor.
“No day is the same at Disneyland Paris.” With her colleagues, Anna mends objects and furniture, and occasionally helps out teams at other Disney Hotels. Her favorite part of the job is creating sketches and models, working with materials and letting her imagination run wild, especially on creative holiday projects! It’s the creative, detail-oriented side of the job that drew her to it, and with Disneyland Paris she works on a wide variety of projects in an atypical environment.
But for her, there’s more to it than that. Working at Disneyland Paris also means “working alongside people from very different backgrounds, and this range of profiles, combined with the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, means that everyone in the company feels comfortable and welcome.“
