An imposing addition to the construction site of Adventure Way at Disneyland Paris!

Ahead of their scheduled opening in 2026, the themed gardens of Adventure Way are gradually taking shape, notably thanks to the arrival of a large number of trees, creating a green walkway that will serve as a gateway to the new immersive worlds of the resort’s second park.

Recently, the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams responsible for landscaping the new experiences celebrated a milestone that is as significant as it is symbolic – the installation of the tallest tree in the expansion, standing nearly 16 meters tall.

This majestic Quercus phellos (Willow Oak) will proudly overlook the Gazebo Garden, where guests can enjoy a range of entertainment in an elegant setting, inspired by English-style gardens. This tree species can reach 30 meters in height when fully grown.

In total, more than 1,000 trees of various species will be planted throughout the park’s expansion, further immersing visitors in the themed lands.

For several years, the Imagineers have meticulously selected each tree in the project from nurseries in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. They took care to identify species adapted to the climatic conditions in Seine-et-Marne.

The extension’s trees, groves and shrubs will further establish Disneyland Paris as one of Europe’s most verdant green spaces, already boasting approximately 33,000 trees, 330,000 shrubs and bushes and 7,400m2 of flowerbeds.
