Following the celebration of International Volunteer Day, we want to recognize the commitment of our Disney VoluntEARS who generously donate their free time to participate in philanthropic endeavors and bring hope and magic to those who need it the most. Throughout the year, they notably accompany children and their families during their visits to Disneyland Paris, offering them a magical, joyful, and unforgettable experience. In addition to making children’s dreams come true inside our parks, our VoluntEARS team up with Disney Characters to bring much-needed moments of joy to sick children who can’t travel by visiting them directly in hospitals across France and Europe.
This year, Disney VoluntEARS have completed more than 19,000 volunteer hours, enabling more than 25,000 individuals to experience moments of happiness during wish-granting events, solidarity days and other philanthropic initiatives led by the resort. The dedication and enthusiasm they bring to this program have made it possible to put smiles on the faces of thousands of children and families, while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
