Val d’Europe reaffirms its economic attractiveness thanks to the arrival of several new companies to the region

Val d’Europe, 11 December 2019 – Comprised of a major tourist center and a quality urban area, Val d’Europe has become the main center of development in the eastern suburbs of Paris. Halfway through its development, the area already has nearly 500,000 m² of offices and business premises developed or under development and is positioned as a territory of the future. Following the recent announcement of the arrival of Crédit Agricole’s regional headquarters and its 420 employees, Val d’Europe is continuing its dynamic development by welcoming the arrival of Deloitte University EMEA, an exceptional European centre that will deliver leading-edge training. The arrival of Deloitte University EMEA continues the growth of the region and is a dynamic addition for the territory.

A strong year for the territory

Since 1987, Disneyland Paris, through Real Estate Development by Euro Disney and together with its public and private partners, has developed the components necessary for the economical and social balance of the territory of Val d’Europe, from urban harmony to commercialization. With its many assets including accessibility and an atypical living environment, Val d’Europe is a territory with unique opportunities for all businesses, from small to big.

The economic heart of the zone is driven by the various tourist developments that make Val d’Europe Europe’s number one tourist destination. Disneyland Paris is a driver of tourism for the region and a real economic and social powerhouse for the zone, with more than 17,000 employees. In 2018, the Walt Disney Company announced a major investment plan of over 2 billion euros to expand and develop the Walt Disney Studios Park, the extension work of which has begun, and which continues to accelerate the virtuous dynamics of a zone combining a tourist destination on a European scale, with excellence in urban development.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13875″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]At the center of the collaboration between different public and private players, Val d’Europe is now home to 35,000 jobs and 35,000 inhabitants, significant for an area that is less than 20 years old, and with plans to increase these figures to 60,000 jobs and 60,000 inhabitants, over time. The real estate development of the zone continued this year with the total supply of more than 500 shops and services in the most dynamic city in France in terms of the establishment of companies (6,500 establishments), the average occupancy rate of which is 99%.

It is particularly due to its international influence and its exceptional accessibility that Val d’Europe is today a major complex and the choice of many companies who see it as a place of the future, capable of hosting large projects – innovative, creative, multi-faceted projects that increase the virtuous dynamics already at play.

“Today, Val d’Europe is a leading economic center, and enjoys exceptional growth, both in terms of jobs and the establishment of businesses. The quality of life and the exceptional transport facilities help make this area a key hub,” says Christophe Giral, Euro Disney’s Real Estate Director.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The establishment of Deloitte University EMEA only confirms the attractiveness of Val d’Europe

Following the recent announcement of the arrival of Crédit Agricole’s regional headquarters and its 420 employees, Val d’Europe is continuing its dynamic development by welcoming the arrival of Deloitte University EMEA, an exceptional European centre that will deliver leading-edge training.

After holding a European competition, Val d’Europe was selected amongst 88 European sites by Deloitte to set up its training centre. Deemed the most efficient European site in terms of accessibility, with its TGV Hub 8 minutes from Roissy and its public transport, the quality of the location and the dynamism of the zone,

The urban centre, thanks to its excellent accessibility with two RER (express train) stations, one of which is interconnected to a single international hub in France, allows quick access to the province as well as to major French and international cities.

The International Business Park is also undergoing dynamic development thanks to flexible land opportunities for all types of projects. Located 7 minutes by bus from the city centre, its infinitely adaptable and evolving nature allows it to accommodate both VSBs and major accounts requiring large work areas associated with advanced technology.

While “Village By CA Brie Picardie” chose Val d’Europe as the location for its new village on the themes of the tourism economy, the construction of the sustainable city, and the food industry, Bosch Rexroth moved to Val d’Europe to develop its sales offices and showroom to better respond to its current activities.

Sonepar, for its part, is establishing its sales agency, and enchanted by the effervescence of urban life, with its many green and wooded areas, and the excellent accessibility of Val d’Europe, it also holds all its board of directors’ meetings here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13877″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Val d’Europe also has the installation of GRDF this year, which has chosen Val d’Europe to bring together its five Seine-et-Marne agencies and make it the technical site of eastern Paris and Sunclear, which has established its offices and warehouses here, while the numerous new signatories during the year have confirmed the growing interest of our real estate partners for the territory:

– In February, the signing of Phase II of Faraday Park in Serris. A mixed business activity/office park composed of four buildings, with a floor area ranging from 910 m² to 2,211 m², phase II is now 60% sold.

– In March and September, two new signings with Spirit Entreprises to develop the Spirit Business Cluster in Val d’Europe, a mixed programme (business activities/offices), located in Bailly-Romainvilliers and which will eventually provide various different buildings with a total floor area of 22,370 m² on a plot of around 4.81 hectares.

Thanks to its dynamism, its quality of life and its quality architecture, Val d’Europe has become the main development centre in the eastern suburbs of Paris, with a high satisfaction rate, 86% of managers expressing satisfaction with their business installations.

“The work carried out in consultation with the State and the local public authorities has enabled a zone to emerge with a truly international scope. Euro Disney and its public partners have combined their strengths to develop an extraordinary urban project,” says Damien Audric, Director of Euro Disney Development.
