Disneyland Paris welcomes 5 000 « Oubliés des vacances » thanks to the Secours populaire français

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On August 20th and 21st, Disneyland Paris welcomed 5,000 children and their families on the “Journée des oubliés des vacances,” an event organized by the Secours Populaire Français.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13623″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Since the beginning of their partnership in 1992, Disneyland Paris and Secours populaire français have worked together to bring the magic of Disney to children who aren’t able to normally have summer holidays, through the “Oubliés des vacances” program. The Secours populaire also invited les Copains du Monde, children originating from 21 different countries. The children experienced heartwarming moments as they rode attractions and met Disney characters.

Our young guests also had the opportunity to showcase their artwork on the theme of Children’s Rights in the Walt Disney Studios Park. The pre-parade spotlighted Copains de Monde ahead of the traditional Disney Stars on Parade. This unforgettable day was made possible thanks to our Disney VoluntEARS, cast members who dedicate their free time to charitable actions. Our VoluntEARS helped create magical moments with our special guests that they will cherish for years to come.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13624″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][TS-VCSC-Youtube content_youtube=”https://youtu.be/EGWsqMy_GE8″ el_file=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
