Disneyland Paris Signs the Corporate Parenthood Charter

Guillaume Da Cunha, Vice President of Human Resources, signed the Corporate Parenthood Charter on December 6th, 2022 before Marlène Schiappa, Junior Minister attached to the Prime Minister in charge of Social and Solidarity Economy and Associative Life and Charlotte Caubel, Junior Minister attached to the Prime Minister in charge of Children. Created by the Observatoire de Qualité de Vie au Travail [Organization dedicated to monitoring the quality of working life], this charter binds signing companies to take measures that allow for a better work-life balance.

At Disneyland Paris, we are continually committed to offering our Cast Members a better work-life balance. Aware of the importance of conciliating personal and professional life by taking into account parenthood, several concrete measures have been put in place to support our employee-parents with appropriate resources.

Two examples illustrate this commitment perfectly: the provision of 150 spots in daycare centers to support our employee-parents in their choice of childcare, and a company concierge service offering, among other services, home childcare and school support. Other recent initiatives include the creation of several breastfeeding rooms across our destination and the organization of a day dedicated to promoting the company’s parenting facilities.

It was therefore only logical for us to sign the Corporate Parenthood Charter set up by the Observatoire de la Qualité de Vie au Travail, thus continuing to reinforce our commitment to fostering a work environment that allows employees to develop professionally and personally… whatever their family situation!
