On 22 April this year, Disneyland® Paris restated its commitment to create awareness among future generations by inviting 150 children from the association Secours Populaire Français to celebrate World Earth Day with the Disney VoluntEARS.
Over 30 Disney VoluntEARS accompanied Secours Populaire Français, the organisation with which Disneyland Paris has collaborated since its creation in order to provide magical moments to children most in need.
During this day of solidarity, the children had the privilege of discovering the latest Disneynature movie, “Monkey Kingdom” during a private showing at Cinémagique.
The day continued with a pre-parade of today’s little gardeners who will no doubt be the bearers of future major environmental messages.
Proudly wearing their gardener outfits, the children paid a tribute to mother Nature by taking part in the parade, admired by thousands of guests.
The day was a part of the Earth Month celebration. Indeed, since 1 April and to 30 April, Disneyland Paris celebrates Nature with a special happening “Life On Earth”, which tells of the wonders of Nature through images of Disneynature movies, right before the famous show Disney Dreams!.
