Two studies carried out by survey institutes TNS Sofres and Ipsos confirm this new town, developed by the teams from Real Estate Development by Euro Disney and the french authorities, is seen as a place where it is pleasant to live and to work.
The survey carried out by TNS Sofres, aimed at measuring the level of satisfaction of the residents regarding the services and infrastructures of the territory, shows the attachment of the residents to Val d’Europe has increased since the last survey carried out in 2009. Indeed, 90% of the residents claim to be attached to Val d’Europe, and 71% of them are completely satisfied with the quality of life there. They are also 95% who consider the public-private partnership between Euro Disney and the French State is a good initiative. The vast majority of those surveyed (93%) will readily recommend Val d’Europe to their family and friends to live, but also to work, study and visit. The strong points for these same persons are the easy access to the town and its quality of life. Among the other recognised criteria, they mention the control of the territory’s development and the respect for the environment, as well as the cleanliness and the upkeep of the infrastructures, the urban planning and the commitment of Euro Disney to the territory.
But Val d’Europe is also a major economic pole, with companies that are very active. The study shows that 86% of them are satisfied with having settled there. The quality of life, the easy access to the town via the motorway and public transportation, the safety and price of the commercial space are all very positive criteria. As a matter of fact, 93% of business leaders in Val d’Europe would recommend the area to other companies to settle there, in particular given the tertiary and dynamic economic fabric at Val d’Europe. They also feel, when questioned, that the sector has an important development potential.
“We are thrilled to note that users in Val d’Europe appreciate the importance we give to the development of the territory as well as the quality of life it offers”, Francis Borezée, Vice President Real Estate and Tourism Development Euro Disney, declared.
“The level of satisfaction is a major element in the success of the territory. Val d’Europe has demonstrated its capacity to create loyalty among all the parties already settled there and its power to attract has created a number of positive elements for all users”, Arnaud de Belenet, President of the greater Val d’Europe region, declared.
