Disneyland Paris and the charity Secours populaire français have been working together for 25 years to allow underprivileged children to enjoy the magic of the parks. This spirit of citizenship has always been a part of the Disneyland Paris identity. Over 1,000 Disney VoluntEARS* commit every year to organize just as many events to show their solidarity with those who are most in need.
This year, for its 25th anniversary, Disneyland Paris is launching a wide digital campaign with Secours populaire français and TV station TF1: Each time the hashtag #SparkleForAll is mentioned on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, a €5 donation will be made to Secours populaire français. The donations will be given to the association on 4 April and will allow the organisation’s children to spend a magic day in the Disney Parks.
“The priority of Corporate Citizenship is to offer the magic of the Disney Parks to children who most need it. We are proud to once again help Secours populaire français fulfill the dream of hundreds of children. On 4 April, following the #sparkleforall campaign, we will organize an event at Disneyland Paris with 2 500 children so they may enjoy the Disney parks.” — Annabel Altmann, Senior Manager Corporate Citizenship at Disneyland Paris.
“From the very beginning after the Disneyland Park opened, Secours populaire français has enjoyed a warm partnership with the park. And it has meant happiness and joy offered to tens of thousands of children whom we baptize “Buddy of the world”. They wish you, bright-eyed and happy, a very Happy Anniversary!” — Julien Lauprêtre, Président of Secours populaire français.
