The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), which recognises excellence in the field of entertainment throughout the world, awarded the ‘Mickey and the Magician’ show the prize for the Best Theater Production in the category of Parks with attendance above 3 million visitors. The show, on stage at Disneyland Paris since 2 July at Animagique, combines illusions, music, live singing, dance and special effects which spin Mickey into a magical adventure.
This new trophy rewards the will of Disneyland Paris to offer its guests different forms of entertainment in order to enrich the quality of their experience at the tourist destination.
The reward can be added to the list of distinctions Disneyland Paris has received over the years. Another great example is the prize for the best live production in a theme park, awarded to the ‘Disney Dreams!’ show in 2012, or the World Travel Awards given in 2013 to Disneyland Paris as the best themed tourist destination in Europe.
More recently, in 2015, the website ‘Trip Advisor’ awarded 4 Certificates of Excellence to the teams of Disneyland Paris, for the quality of hospitality and the services offered by Disneyland Paris Cast Members.
